Location

Our map isn’t just places, but pilgrimages — spiritual, educational, and deeply personal.

At Kingsbridge Academy the world is our classroom. Students encounter things directly.

  • The curriculum includes power tools, passports, and purpose.

  • We don't sequester students, we connect them directly to public life.

  • Students create actual businesses and solve real problems.

  • Everyone we encounter is a potential teacher.

  • Learning is fulltime occupation.

Academics

We utilize meeting spaces throughout the community for conducting research and other academic work, primarily, but not exclusively in local libraries .

The Maker Lab

This community space allows students to explore, create, and innovate with 3D printers, a 3D scanner, a laser cutter, vinyl printer, CNC milling and routing machines, soldering stations, a sublimation print station and press, embroidery and sewing machines, an electronic cutter, an engraver, a UV printer, an audio recording studio, hand tools, safety gear, and more.

Fitness

The YMCA at the Heights includes a fitness center, weight room, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor tracks, and basketball courts. On the same grounds is the Huber Heights Senior Center and Eichelberger Amphitheater providing venues for serving the community and performance space. Nearby Carriage Hill Metro Park offers additional fishing and hiking opportunities.

Natural History

3790 OH-370, Yellow Springs, OH 45387, USA

Adjacent to the Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve, John Bryan State Park offers splendid views of the limestone gorge cut by the Little Miami River. Students enjoy the natural beauty year round. They learn tree identification and practice land navigation.

Astronomy & Fossil Hunting

5443 Middletown Rd, Waynesville, OH 45068, USA

Hisey Park is home to a the Fred Bay Observatory where students discover the night sky. The park is also home to historic Hisey Farm. Students enjoy nature trails throughout the park's 158 acres of forested hills and riparian wetlands. The park shares a boundary with Caesar Creek State Nature Preserve which is a public fossil collecting site.

Kingsbridge Academy is seeking locations around the Miami Valley where groups can gather. If you'd like us to come to your neighborhood and know of a suitable location, please let us know! We’re particularly interested in partnering with faith-based groups.
